See below for a list of ID document types currently accepted during the ID verification process. Each document type is listed along with the Short Code returned from various endpoints. Where possible, the issuing country will also be returned in any payload responses.
If your requests are configured to require two pieces of ID, clients will be asked to upload two ID documents (e.g., driver’s license and passport) during the ID verification process (one Primary ID Document and one Secondary ID Document below). If your requests are configured to only require one piece of ID, then the client will be asked to upload only one Primary ID Document below during the ID verification process.
Note: only the first document uploaded by the client (i.e., the Primary ID Document) will be analyzed for authenticity – the second document will only be collected to satisfy any requirements to collect two pieces of ID.
