The Treefort API is organized around REST. Our API uses standard HTTP response codes, token authentication, and returns JSON encoded or plain text responses.
All API requests must be made over HTTPS. Calls made over plain HTTP, as well as requests without authentication, will fail. More information on accessing the API sandbox environment and authenticating requests can be found in the next sections.
The endpoints are organized under 3 categories in the left-hand column:
-
ID Verification Requests: these endpoints can be used to create and send new ID verification requests to one or more clients, and to update existing requests.
-
File: these endpoints can be used to retrieve or post information on all ID verification requests grouped together and associated under one common "file".
-
Client: these endpoints can be used to retrieve or post information relating to an individual ID verification request associated with one particular client.
